Progress!

Hey, look what landed on my doorstep today:

I was, quite honestly, blown away by the overall quality. I've been in the habit of buying from small publishers, and what I got today not only met but exceeded my expectations. Technology is indeed a wonderful thing.

Right now the red marker is out, and I'm scrawling up a storm.

We'll let Remembrance Day take its course. Then Youthful Desires shall have its way.

So, you posed it next to Robertson Davies and Don DeLillo... And the release date will only be 2 weeks away, I guess. All good things!

The marked up copy will be entrusted to the children's trust fund?
Or..
Going to the highest bidder?

That just happened to be the most picturesque of our book-shelves. "Reimer" doesn't quite fit next to Camus, Chabone, Coupland, Davies ... etc. In fact, on our shelf I'd be placed next to Steinbeck, which can't help but get me punning.

Those markings are red, because they'll save me the experience of turning red from embarrassment. I don't think we'll be hearing an auctioneer's gavel anytime soon.

As long as I can pick up a few copies before Christmas for my nieces and nephews!

"Nephews"? Is there something we need to discuss?
