Makes sense, I suppose...

...considering my progenitors hailed from Friesland.

You Belong in Amsterdam

A little old fashioned, a little modern - you're the best of both worlds. And so is Amsterdam.

Whether you want to be a squatter graffiti artist or a great novelist, Amsterdam has all that you want in Europe (in one small city).

Me too. I'm pretty sure it's the legalized drugs...

WP and Trent, Hope there's another sleeper on that boat. Looks like Amsterdam is the place to be...if one reads this blog. I was thinking I'd end up in Lisbon or Prague; wonder what the key question of the bunch determined my place as Amsterdam?

I'm pretty sure Trent's on to something. But what, indeed, was the subliminally informed question?

It looks like its getting crowed on that little boat. I ended up in Amsterdam also. Strange...

You know, Frisians are supposed to be pretty tough. (At least that's what my Frisian undergrad linguistics prof, a campus legend, once told me. But then, he also insisted that he was a "beautiful man," gifted with "natural superiority." A character, that guy.)

Phil - experienced profs know full well that you can get away with worse than murder around undergrads (heh heh).

Is Amsterdam ready for us all? Damn the torpedoes and full speed ahead, I say! (Though now that I realize Prague was one of the options, I'm starting to feel a little ... rejected.)

Amsterdam is sooo much cooler than Dublin. But I really wanted to be in Pamplona. Not sure that's an option on the quiz, but oh well.

Not to spoil the fun, but I am Paris. You can speculate on that all you want, but it just means currently that I don't like young people and I am an elite snob.

Bright Son - you devil, you. Readers were beginning to wonder if you weren't a figment of my imagination! Enjoy the Louvre.
