Born to consume, summer 1984
At the Red Rock Bible Camp tuck shop a salesperson would reach for the very bottom of the deep-freeze unit and fetch a Burnt Almond dark chocolate bar.
I lived for those chocolate bars. I also liked 4 Flavours but that was not a tuck shop experience.
Ah, good times! Either picking up a sunburn or else shivering from a dip in the lake (or both), standing in line with such eager expectation for the rare treats of the Red Rock tuck shop.
