The news-shows and papers and magazines (what remains of 'em!) have all become platforms for what passes for the Left. The far-Right has no difficulty making up for this perceived paucity. Oh, they're just warming up, baby!
I've said it before: when you believe you have sealed off the exits the congregation starts breaking the high windows.

Don’t guess I need to say it here, but I’m still fairly cautious about self-identifying as left or saying confidently that I’ve identified the left in someone else, though these days I am more and more in circles where the former’s ordinary.
On paradise and its discontents, anyhow: some top-quality listening (in which also a good deal of thoughtful leftie criticism of the left) to mention.
I've been listening to Know Your Enemy, the review of Christopher Lasch was good.
BTW this is as good a place as any to say I'm enjoying Casually Comics. And I'm not even a "DC Guy" -- thanks!
It’s funny, I shouldn’t be the audience for her material at all — and as I said, I can only take so much of it in a sitting — but I know I think better about comics for having listened to her. She’s sharp.
