It's a curious thing: during regular season I'm generally indifferent to, when I'm not annoyed with, Detroit's game. But every time they make it this far --
every time -- I cannot help but watch with admiration and think, "There is nothing alive that deserves to beat this team."

Prescient, I assume?
That Saturday game was most unenjoyable. PLease! Please! At least let the Pens make it to Game #7.
"Prescient"? Well ... I was given cause to wonder as I watched game 4, a game I very much enjoyed even though the Pens took it. I couldn't finish Game 5, and went to bed when Fleury was pulled. "This game has become a tutorial," said one announcer, admirably summing up the drabness of the drubbing.
Wow! (need a Spanish keyboard so I can do the upside down exclamation mark beofre the "Wow"...when I took Spanish in high school, I thought that was the neatest thing going, having the intro exclamation or question mark before a sentence, letting you know how to take your speaking voice as you parsed through a sentence...but I digress)
What a great game last night. Now 3-3 and anything is possible....even Detroit losing at home (which they've done only once in the playoffs).
Osgood, never a steady goalkeeper, IMHO, is the key. The Pens score early, he folds, the Cup gets marched down Forbes Ave. in Pittsburgh.
I, like you, admire the steeliness and control of the Wings, but dynasties are no fun for the league, only for one team.
Well ... Fleury's the one who had the recent meltdown. I don't expect to see that happen again, but I'm just sayin'. As for the rest of the Wings, I was a little unnerved by their style of play during the first and most of the second period: were I in the booth, I'd have characterized it as "Insouciant." I've appreciated Pittsburgh's spirit in this series, but I'm still going with a decisive Detroit win in Game 7.
